A Baroque beauty, this Navajo sand cast silver cuff is lushly romantic. The coin silver cuff is cast to resemble a flourish of curling acanthus leaves. The organic foliate shapes wrap around the wrist. A nugget of blue Kingman turquoise sits in a raised hand-cut bezel. The rough organic quality of the turquoise creates a compelling contrast with the Neoclassical forms of sculpted silver. The interior of the band is marked "Sterling" and is stamped with an as of yet unattributed makers mark. Circa 1970.
