A bird on the wing, sensitively crafted in coin silver with a turquoise accent. This brooch represents a bird, probably a duck, in flight. His silver body is subtly convex, creating a lifelike shape. His beak and feather details are minimally engraved. A piercing bright blue turquoise eye surveys the landscape. This lightweight brooch fastens with a simple c-clasp. Circa 1950.

Details.....The brooch measures 2.47" by 1.25". In Very Good Vintage Condition. As with all vintage jewelry, wear should be expected in keeping with their age. We consider it to be part of their charm.
